TUARAN: The Sabah government will consider extending support to Form Six students in the state, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
"The Sabah government prioritises education and human capital development. One of the focuses of the Sabah Maju Jaya roadmap is the development of quality education and human resources.
"The state is committed to ensuring that young generations have a strong educational foundation equipped with the skills and knowledge to face the future confidently."
He said this at the inauguration of a new building at SK Rugading here.
Hajiji said the state government has increased its allocation for education, including the Sabah state government scholarship, which will amount to RM127 million next year.
"This increase will enable more eligible students to pursue higher education."
Regarding the new SK Rugading building, Hajiji said a conducive learning environment equipped with modern facilities encourages effective learning and helps students reach their potential.
"I am confident that with this facilitiesy, SK Rugading will continue to excel, producing outstanding students not only academically but also in life."
