Mydin offers Khairul Aming unlimited credit to procure supplies to help flood victims

KUALA LUMPUR: Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd, Malaysia's largest halal wholesaler and retailer, has stepped up to support influencer and entrepreneur Khairul Aming in aiding flood victims.

In a viral social media video, Mydin managing director Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin said Khairul Aming could take as much supplies as he needed from Mydin outlets without any upfront payment until the flood crisis subsides.

Ameer expressed complete confidence in Khairul Aming's commitment to helping those in need, particularly in areas where he went to distribute aid.

"Take as much as you want, there's no need to send someone, provide a credit card or anything. Just let us know the credit limit you need, whether it's RM20,000, RM50,000 or RM100,000.

"After the floods, you can pay; there's no problem. We trust Khairul Aming," he said in the 56-second video.

In the same video, Ameer added that Mydin would also donate an additional 5,000 items to the influencer to help flood victims.

Ameer encouraged Khairul Aming to continue his noble efforts to the best of his ability.

Khairul Aming, whose full name is Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman, launched his mission to assist flood victims in Kelantan last Saturday.

He and his team had been busy preparing food and essential supplies for those affected before distributing them to the victims.

Earlier, Khairul Aming said while many had requested his bank account details to make donations, he refrained from sharing them due to a lack of permit and public trust concerns.
