KUALA LUMPUR: Six individuals were injured in a five-vehicle crash, including an ambulance, along Jalan Kajang Perdana, Kajang this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said they were informed of the crash at 9.50am and six firefighters from the Kajang Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene.
"The firefighters found that the crash involved a Toyota Hiace van, a Health Ministry ambulance, a Hyundai Starex and two Yamaha Y15 motorcycles and a Nouva LC.
"A woman, the pillion rider of one of the motorcycles, suffered serious injuries from being pinned and was rescued by firefighters, while three men and two other women, all locals, suffered minor injuries,” he said in a statement today.
He said that all the injured, aged 22 to 44, have been taken to Kajang Hospital for further treatment, adding that the police were looking into the cause of the crash.
