BE International donates RM100,000 to Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund

KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima Bhd has received RM100,000 from BE International Marketing Sdn Bhd to support life-saving surgeries for children with heart complications.

The contribution was presented by BE International Marketing head of president office Ho Huey In to Media Prima group chairman Datuk Seri Dr Syed Hussian Aljunid at the BE Carnival at Pavilion Bukit Jalil today.

Through the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund, the donation will be used to provide life-saving medical treatment for underprivileged patients.

Hussian said the fund has significantly aided patients with congenital heart defects and covered treatment costs for children and parents struggling with hospital bills.

"This fund helps patients access vital healthcare services and eases the financial burden on families."

Hussian highlighted a case in Penang two years ago when the fund helped a child requiring admission to the National Heart Institute , covering the cost of care and reducing hospital expenses.

"To date, the fund has supported 20 cases involving a variety of medical needs," he said.

"This donation will help fund vital services such as medical treatments, disaster relief and community development projects," said Ho.

"We are honoured to contribute to such a meaningful initiative and to help make a difference in people's lives."

Donations to the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund are tax-deductible and can be made via Bank Muamalat (1401 0008 8427 18) or Maybank (5141 0532 3170).
