Madani Ihsan Squad provides flood relief to Kelantan families

PETALING JAYA: Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) sent the Madani Ihsan Squad on their first critical flood relief mission to Kelantan today, demonstrating the organisation's commitment to community support during challenging times.

Led by chairman Dr Mohd Zuhan Mohd Zain and attended by management deputy director-general Sh. Arifin Sh. Mohd Noor, the initiative targets some of Kelantan's most severely flooded areas.

"Our goal is to not just provide immediate assistance, but to genuinely ease the burden of flood victims during their most vulnerable period," said Dr Zuhan.

Kelantan experienced severe flooding in the past couple of weeks, displacing thousands of people and causing damage to roads, homes and vehicles.

The three-day, two-night mission will see 20 members deployed across multiple regions, including Lubuk Jong, Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas and Tumpat.

The squad will directly support 500 families by distributing electrical fans valued at RM50,000, providing critical relief to communities grappling with the aftermath of the devastating floods.

The targeted approach underscores MyIPO's proactive stance in community support and disaster response. As an agency under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, MyIPO supports national innovation that extends far beyond intellectual property administration.
