BDB gives RM20,000 aid to Kubang Pasu flood victims

ALOR STAR: Bina Darulaman Bhd (BDB) today gave aid worth more than RM20,000 to 300 flood victims in Kubang Pasu following last month's floods.

BDB group executive director Raja Shahreen Raja Othman said the aid — comprising food packs with rice, flour, and sugar — was aimed at easing the burden of those affected.

"BDB remains committed to helping those in need. The flood victims are grappling with physical losses and emotional strain due to the damage and destruction caused.

"This contribution is part of our effort to support flood victims," he said after the post-flood aid presentation ceremony at Masjid Sharifah Fatimah.

Present were Jitra assemblyman Dr Haim Hilman Abdullah, BDB group chief operating officer Mohd Sobri Hussein, and Kubang Pasu Civil Defence Force officer Captain (PA) Mohd Adenin Suhaimi.
