KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued warnings for torrential rainfall until Dec 20 for several states, including Terengganu, Pahang, and Johor, in a statement today.
Dungun and Kemaman in Terengganu are at risk, while Pahang's vulnerable districts include Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin.
Johor's affected areas encompass Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Baru.
Starting from Dec 19 to 22, Sarawak and Sabah will be on alert for similar weather conditions. In Sarawak, the warning covers Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, and Mukah.
Sabah's impacted regions include Pantai Barat (Ranau and Kota Belud), Sandakan's districts (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat.
