Sabah Pas extends Christmas greeting

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Pas extended Christmas greetings to all Malaysians, particularly to the multicultural community in the state.

Its state secretary, Sahar Abdul Majid, said the party respects and upholds the customs and festive traditions of diverse ethnicities and religions as part of its commitment to fostering harmony and solidarity.

"Islam emphasises equality, mutual respect, and tolerance in practising religion and culture.

"Differences in beliefs and traditions should not divide us but instead bind us in building a prosperous society and state," he said in a statement today.

Sahar also urged all parties to avoid sowing discord or spreading harmful sentiments that could undermine efforts to nurture peace and understanding.

He also said that this year's Christmas celebration would strengthen ties among communities, paving the way for unity and prosperity.
