KUALA LUMPUR: A stray dog died after being shot with 60 to 70 metal pellets in Kapar, Klang.
My Forever Doggo, in an Instagram post, said they were seeking eyewitnesses to seek justice for the poor canine.
"If you have any information or are an eyewitness to this incident, please come forward and drop us a message. Anonymity is assumed.
"Otherwise, you may also make a report at the police station and/or to the Veterinary Services Department (DVS).
"Please share Brownie's (the dog's name) story on your social media so that it reaches more people, and even more reports are made. #JusticeforBrownie. He deserves it.
"If you are not a witness but would like to help to hopefully bring justice for Brownie, you can still report this case, or any other abuse cases, by visiting https://awa.dvs.gov.my/support or lodge a report at the police station."
The comment section saw netizens hoping for the perpetrator to be caught as soon as possible.
User @gja_ahmad wrote; "Rest in Peace Brownie. Humans really don't deserve you. To the rescuer, thank you for your love and care for him. I pray the perpetrator will be punished soon."
User @as.is.normal wrote; "Please I hope they find the perpetrator, and put the person down instead. Someone walking around with a dangerous weapon, shooting innocent creatures needs to get far far away from people."
