KUALA LUMPUR: A stray dog had a plastic tube stuck on its head and it was frantically moving about near a busy road due to its sight being obstructed.
Worried that the dog would endanger itself, especially since cars were whizzing along the road, passers-by notified the authorities.
A video posted by amir_officialff on TikTok shows a woman talking with a fireman at the start of the video, followed by a scene of the dog struggling on the road. It was jumping up and down and running around with its head stuck in the black plastic tube.
The fireman approached the dog slowly, with a fire hook in his hand so he could help the canine.
As he stepped closer, he quickly grabbed the plastic tube from behind the dog to pull it off, but it panicked and began to run away.
He attempted to approach again, but the frightened dog backed away nervously.
But all was well because by the end of the video, the dog was freed from the plastic tube and walked away.
