THAILAND: A man from Thailand made headlines recently after being woken from his slumber by a snake that sought refuge in his boxer shorts.
The serpent managed to sneak into the man's boxer shorts while he was sleeping, and the scariest part is that the snake turned out to be a cobra, one of the most poisonous snakes.
The incident was shared on Facebook by the account under the username Ner KhwaiTai. The rare and potentially deadly encounter attracted a crowd outside the victim's house during the rescue.
As rescuers entered the victim's room, the man managed to remain still and motionless, knowing that the slightest wrong move could have spelled disaster. The snake was said to be around the man's left thigh inside his boxer shorts.
One of the rescuers used a hook to delicately extract the serpent from its newfound lair, while another rescuer recorded the entire incident and pacified the victim.
After the snake was removed from the man's private area, it was carefully placed in a bag and released back into the wild, far away from the traumatized victim and his boxers.
