KUALA LUMPUR: A traffic policeman was thrown off his motorcycle after crashing into a car as the driver made a sudden lane change.
In a 28-second dashboard camera video that has gone viral on Facebook, the man was seen riding his machine in the far-left lane.
A Honda City, which appeared from the right, was seen switching lanes abruptly causing the policeman to crash into the machine as he was unable to stop in time.
The impact of the collision caused the motorcycle to spin several times, while the policeman fell and his personal belongings scattered on the road.
The incident is believed to have occurred in Cheras.
The video has garnered some 289,000 views at the time of writing.
The NST has reached out to the police for comments and details regarding the matter.
