KUALA LUMPUR: Pupils from Chinese national-type primary schools (SJKC) wowed netizens when they performed Joe Flizzow's 'Negaraku' with impressive fluency.
In a TikTok video posted by @jmiin, four schoolchildren performed a lively rendition of the song on stage, accompanied by their teacher with the display of lyrics on a screen at the back of them.
Despite being SJKC students, they sang and performed a slick rap version of the song effortlessly.
The video garnered 464,300 views and 29,300 likes. It also received widespread praise from netizens for the pupils' impressive singing and the teacher's spirit.
User @Hermione Granger said: "This is so good. My sons are also in SJKC, feeling so proud".
@SI MELUR PUTIH said: Congratulations, teacher. I know SJKC schools always present patriotic performances," she said.
User @Kikiey90 said the rap rendition was electrifying.

Similarly, @Hanhan_syaaa said the rap was on point.
"That guy's rap was impressive! His Bahasa Malaysia fluency was so smooth, he can definitely become a rap artist!"
