KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a raid at one of the 20 welfare homes linked to Global Ikhwan Sdn Bhd (GISB) is making its rounds on social media.
The video shows two white vans stopping in front of the house, with men wearing police vests seen approaching the premises.
It is learnt that the house, where children aged one to 17 stayed, is in Rawang.
Yesterday, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said 20 welfare homes raided by the police in a major operation across two states were linked to GISB.
The operation saw police rescue 402 minors from alleged exploitation and abuse, including sexual abuse. Police also arrested 171 caretakers and religious teachers.
GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd has denied allegations linking the company to child exploitation.
It said it was ready to cooperate with the authorities.
