KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a young couple has gone viral on social media, showing the man exchanging his footwear with his girlfriend's high heels during a surprise birthday date at the zoo.
The video posted by 'pareepari' on her Tik Tok account showed a man, believed to be her boyfriend, volunteered to wear her heels as she slipped into his sneakers throughout their visit to Zoo Negara recently.
In the video caption, the girl said she had no idea where they were going because it was a surprise outing planned by her boyfriend.
However, when they arrived and started their walkabout, her legs started to ache.
The 'hero' steps in and volunteers to wear her white and yellow heels to give her feet a rest.
In the video, the man was also seen walking and trying to strike a model pose.
The video posted on Aug 18, has been widely shared with over 600,000 views and 70,000 over likes.
It also garnered more than 800 comments from netizens. Most of the comments were compliments addressed to the boyfriend for his gentleman and 'sporting' attitude.
Many of the ladies who commented also said he carried the heels with more 'slay' than any woman would.
Another Tik Toker, ellyn wrote: "luckily both of you share the same shoe size" while another Samues Chin commented: "best bf ever."
