KUALA LUMPUR: Netizens were left shocked by the antics of a man who was captured on video leaning quite a distance out of a moving car in order to film another vehicle on the roads of what looked like Putrajaya.
In a 15-second video clip posted by the @update1111 page on X, the man is seen leaning out the backseat window of the car to capture a video.
He was believed to have been using a gimbal and a mobile device to shoot the video, both of which seemed mere centimetres from the road below.
He is seen shooting a blue car from that angle, seemingly oblivious to the dangers he faces, while other vehicles pass by on the road.
The footage of him is captured from the back by another vehicle's dashboard camera.
The video posting was captioned: "May I ask what knowledge of invulnerability you possess?"
The video had more than 8,115 views and 63 likes with many comments showing the shock netizens felt.
User @0nly_FABs said: "@PDRMsia_Trafik (the traffic police official X account) looks like it's just waiting to be collected and the licence plate is clearly visible."
Another user, @sofiaarissa, also tagged the traffic police X account.
User @deqalb, meanwhile, believed the scene was being captured for a social media video.
"It seems like they made a TikTok video and even Hollywood uses studios, or if captured on the street, they will close the road. That is why education is important. They could have taken (it) in a parking area, driven slowly, and then sped up the video."
Meanwhile, user User @FlyKiteSmellAir wondered what would happen if the food delivery rider seen in the video had slipped in between the two cars and perhaps slammed into the cameraman.
