KUALA LUMPUR: In a startling incident captured on dashcam video, several vehicles were seen abruptly stopping to avoid hitting a child who was playing alone in the middle of a busy road.
In a post shared on X by @mynewshub, the child appeared completely unaware of the impending danger as cars slowed down around him to prevent a tragic accident.
The one-minute and 52-second video has since gone viral, highlighting a serious safety concern and raising questions about child supervision in potentially dangerous areas.
The incident is believed to have occurred at 11.21 am yesterday, based on details from the dashcam video, although the exact location has not been specified.
In the footage, the driver, the owner of the dashcam video, had to switch to the left lane upon spotting the child, while another car in the rightmost lane also slowed down to avoid hitting the unsupervised child who was running on the road.
Several other vehicles followed suit, slowing down and then exiting their cars to chase after the child to ensure his safety.
