KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has lambasted Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad calling him as the best actor.
In his Twitter account this morning, Najib posted a 1:26 minute video talking about how Dr Mahathir had a falling out with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“He (Dr Mahathir) is kind of strange. I think he is a number one actor.
He used to mock Anwar Ibrahim terribly and I can't even say the words he used to say (about Anwar),” Najib said in the video.
He criticised Dr Mahathir’s action for nonchalantly going to court just to meet Anwar recently.
“Eh! Previously you talked bad about him, mock him as the worst human being with no moral. We cannot believe this kind of person.
“We need to have our stand in politics. Winning or losing does not matter as long as we have self value (integrity),” he said.
He said that Dr Mahathir should not have made a U-turn from what he had said previously. “I questioned his actions. What is this?
Number one actor..best actor academy award should be given to him.
“This is not something that I concocted. It is a fact. Just watch his old videos.
I shake my head watching his old videos,” said Najib. Now Mahathir is pretending as if nothing happened before," said Najib in the video.
“I cannot do it (but) he can. Never mind, let him do it and I will continue with our struggles."
