JOHOR BARU: Support from the people of Johor is important to implement the vision and mission of the new state government to bring the state forward, says Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian.
He said political differences should not be made a barrier to cooperation, which would ultimately benefit the people in the state.
“Only with the full support of the people were we able to form the Government of the day, and we hope to continue receiving this support to ensure that we continue to hold good governance at Federal and state levels.
“Support will also ensure political stability, and with this stability, we will be able to attract more investors to our state, provide jobs and business opportunities to the people, and with the tax revenue, we can build infrastructure to help the people,” he said.
Osman was speaking during a high tea ceremony organised by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Johor here, today.
The Mentri Besar said the Johor Sustainable Development Blueprint (PPMJ) 2019-2030 launched by the state government was also one of the long-term plans involving the development of mega projects throughout the state of Johor.
“We do not want the development of the state to be merely concentrated in the south of Johor, and the PPMJ which we have introduced is more inclusive, with developments planned in the east and west coasts as well as the north of Johor. - Bernama
