KUALA LUMPUR: All parties under the Pakatan Harapan (PH) umbrella – PKR, DAP, Parti Amanah Negara and Upko – will be using the coalition's logo in the 15th general election (GE15).
PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the logo he referred to was the one the coalition first introduced before GE14 which carried the wording "Pakatan Harapan", and not the latest "Harapan" logo.
"The PH presidential council has agreed to use the new logo after (GE15).
"Since GE15 is just around the corner, possibly in a month or two, or after February or March next year, we decided to first use the old logo in GE15.
"Therefore, I believe it is a very intelligent and rational decision for us to use the (coalition) logo," he said during a press conference at Parliament building here today.
When asked about Muda's bid to join PH, Anwar said the opposition pact has yet to decide on the matter, saying that both sides were still having a series of meetings before a final decision could be made.
"It is still progressing, not just one meeting. We are happy with the initial progress of discussion and it is still continuing. We did not ask for a timeline but we did ask the teams to speed up."
