PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan will win the 15th General Election (GE15) with a simple majority if voter turnout exceeds 80 per cent, said PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli.
If the turnout rate exceeds 80 per cent, the coalition is expected to win more than 100 parliamentary seats, but if the turnout rate lingers around 70 per cent, PH is predicted to secure 90 odd parliamentary seats.
"We are expecting that the turnout rate for this GE15 will be higher than the past state elections, taking into account the sold out bus tickets and increasing traffic on the road.
"It is predicted that the turnout rate will exceed 70 per cent… that is what we are worried about. A higher turnout rate will help PH to win more seats.
"As it is forecasted to rain tomorrow afternoon, do come out to vote as early as possible," he told a press conference at the PKR headquarters, here, today.
He also said that young voters, aged 18 to 21, would be the kingmakers in this election.
