KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he wants to watch the drama to unfold and eat popcorn while waiting for the decision on who the next Prime Minister will be.
Anwar, who is also PKR president, joked by asking the media to join him to see what happens next and what is about to unfold.
"Watch the drama. Here's some popcorn, go and watch what unfolds," he said as he left his office earlier today. He distributed popcorn to reporters who waited outside his office.
Earlier, PKR's top brass were seen leaving Anwar's office, namely deputy president Rafizi Ramli, secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and vice presidents Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
PH won 82 parliamentary seats at the 15th General Election (GE15) on Saturday, and the coalition are in fierce competition with Perikatan Nasional (PN) and it's chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for the Prime Ministership.
Both parties did not have enough for a simple majority to form the next government and need the support of parliamentarians from other parties including 30 from Barisan Nasional to obtain the simple majority of 112 seats to form a government.
