GUA MUSANG: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has urged Nenggiri voters to remain steadfast despite threats from Perikatan Nasional's campaign, particularly concerning land grants.
The Umno president said that voters, including the Orang Asli community, should not be swayed by these threats.
He reassured them that Barisan Nasional (BN) would ensure adequate support and logistics for voters.
"I urge Nenggiri voters to ignore these threats, including those related to land grants managed by the South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar) and other agencies. Do not be intimidated. I hope voter turnout will be high," Zahid said after meeting with the Orang Asli community in Pos Pulat today.
Regarding BN's candidate, Zahid expressed confidence in Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani's chances of victory.
He said BN leaders had conducted targeted outreach in 20 polling districts and reported strong support for their candidate among voters, particularly the Orang Asli.
"Despite the promises made by PN in their manifesto, I believe luck will be on our side," Zahid added.
