GUA MUSANG: Siti Nurul Izwani Mohd Zin, who's blind, has been waiting for her sister since early in the morning to take her to vote in the Nenggiri by-election today.
After waiting for almost an hour, her sister, Maizatul, 38, arrived at Izwani's home in Kampung Jeram Tekoh.
The two went to SK Jeram Tekoh to cast their votes.
Izwani, 32, said: "I don't mind waiting for her as I know that she needs to settle her job at home first.
"I was so excited about voting. I also realised that I can't do it without my sister's help.
"We arrived at the polling centre about noon and she helped me to register and cast my vote."
Maizatul said Izwani, the 10th of 11 siblings, had been blind due to eye pain since 2011.
"Despite her disability, she was eager to vote today."
