KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be attending a meeting related to Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) here on Sept 12.
Sabah PKR information chief Razeef Rakimin said the meeting here is similar to an event held in Sarawak last year.
"He (the prime minister ) is also expected to attend the Malaysia Day event here on Sept 16. However, he would not extend his stays beyond the Sep 12 and 16 engagements as he would have other commitments.
"In October, the Prime Minister is also expected to attend the party's programme in Tawau," he told a press conference at a hotel here.
Razeef added that Sabah PKR would also have several upcoming conventions to strengthen their election machinery.
Meanwhile, he clarified that PKR never sidelined Parti Warisan members during its recent Himpunan Perdana Rakyat Keadilan Sabah on Aug 4.
Razeef said the allegation was baseless as it portrayed that Sabah PKR did not respect Warisan as a partner in the unity government.
He said more than 15,000 PKR members and supporters, as well as leaders from Pakatan Harapan component parties, Barisan Nasional,
Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR), Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS), Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS), MCA and several others attended the Aug 4.
"I hereby attach the copy of invitation letter and evidence, as well as the responses from Warisan secretary-general Datuk Loretto Padua stating that they could not come due to having to attend a retreat."
