Sabah PKR respects GRS' view

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) respects the opinion of local political parties on not wanting outside interference.

Sabah PKR chief Datuk Mustapha Sakmud said Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) leaders were entitled to their opinions.

"But they also know that we are in cooperation with Malaysia Madani. Everyone has their own opinion. But the important thing is we want to work for the people first.

"We prioritise the people, we do our best for the people. In the end, the people will choose which party is good for them," he said in a press conference at Sabah International Convention Centre here.

BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Zambry Abd Kadir recently invited Sabah PH leaders for an unofficial meeting here.

Mustapha said the meeting was merely a discussion to expand "our perspective on Sabah politics and the election preparation".

"We agree on the principle of having a space for discussion."
