KUALA LUMPUR: PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil has denied reports claiming that the party's disciplinary board would finalise action against Pasir Gudang member of Parliament Hassan Karim today following his criticisms of the government.
"I have not been informed.
"Usually, for this party, the disciplinary board process involves a meeting, which is then presented to the Political Bureau Meeting and Central Leadership Council.
"To my knowledge, no meeting is scheduled for today," Fahmi was quoted in a report by Bernama.
It was reported yesterday that Hassan said he would accept any action taken against him by PKR, including suspension, over his criticisms of the government.
Hassan confirmed that he was called for a hearing with the party's disciplinary board on Thursday.
He also said the board is expected to decide his fate today.
