KSL wins BCI Asia award, again

KSL Holdings Bhd’s property arm, Khoo Soon Lee Realty Sdn Bhd, bagged an award at the BCI Asia Awards 2019 held in Kuala Lumpur recently, marking the group’s outstanding achievement in property development.

The award represents KSL’s third year of winning “The BCI Asia Top Ten Developers” title — the first was in 2014.

Among the projects submitted for valuation were KSL Esplanade Mall in the Bandar Bestari township in Klang and KSL 18 Madge, a condominium in Jalan Madge, Kuala Lumpur.

Patrick Khoo, project director of Bandar Bestari, said the award reflected KSL’s stronghold in positioning the best innovations and delivering unique growth structure that embraces lifestyle elements with a mixture of commercial and business components to create a development that meets the target market’s expectations.

“We will continue to hold and embrace our vision and remain innovative to deliver the best to our customers,” said Khoo.

KSL Esplanade Mall, which commands an estimated gross development value of RM600 million, is a catalyst in the Bandar Bestari township.

Khoo said the population in the catchment area is expected to continue growing due to active residential development in the township and its surrounding neighbourhood, especially when the mall is ready.

Slated for completion by the end of next year, KSL Esplanade, which has 600,000 sq ft of space, is expected to put Bandar Bestari on track to be the fastest-growing all-in-one hub in the Klang Valley, he said.

Another project that has received good aggregate value from BCI Asia is KSL 18 Madge.

“KSL 18 Madge is another high-end property residential project within the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur. It is an exciting new upscale concept designed in accordance with the Zen principles, giving an unequalled beauty of spacious condo, a luxurious home,” said Khoo.

This year, BCI Asia presented 10 awards to Malaysian developers that have made great contribution to the built environment across Asia.
