Inspired by nature

THE Tropika in Bukit Jalil is Berjaya Group's most ambitious development project to date.

The gated and guarded residence provides residents with a sense of urban living but with the trappings of what nature has to offer in its wholesome form, making The Tropika a compelling buy which provides the best of both worlds.

It is a place that brings people together, and yet offers peace and quiet to those who wish it.

"Your new life can begin here. We offer homes for your future. It is a new kind of happily-ever-after," said Berjaya Land Berhad chief executive officer Syed Ali Shahul Hameed.

"Residents can live at a leisurely pace within this sanctuary. The surrounding natural elements and man-made marvels will inspire your day-to-day living.

"The project has 68 comprehensive nature-inspired facilities. There is something for everyone."

A unique selling proposition of The Tropika, which makes it stand out from other high-rise projects in the vicinity, is the blending of lifestyle conveniences into its architecture and landscaping aspects. This feature is very much sought-after by its target purchasers comprising young families and the millennial generation.

Being perceptive to the needs of the younger generation which prefers community living, The Tropika has planned mixed retail shops with Jaya Grocer as the anchor tenant.

Besides Jaya Grocer, the commercial component of The Tropika will also feature double-storey dual-frontage shops.

Berjaya Land Berhad general manager of Property Sales & Marketing Tan Tee Ming said they put a lot of thought into the needs of their buyers. It is why, he pointed out, The Tropika's layout offers splendid views in any direction.

"We are also talking with several household names in the food business," said Tan.

"Once we get the right mix of commercial elements sorted out, we hope The Tropika will be the most popular hangout area in Bukit Jalil.

"And, of course, we hope this will pave the way for the value of our units to appreciate. That way, our buyers will follow us when we launch our next development in Bukit Jalil." The commercial development is expected to be completed by Dec 2021 and Jaya Grocer hopes to start operations in 2022. The Tropika Residence is slated for completion in Feb 2023.

Bukit Jalil recently saw the establishment of two highly-reputable schools and has become a lot more established with two highly reputable schools, Tzu Chi International and Lai Meng.

Also, within close proximity is Malaysia's largest sports complex, the KL Sports City. Described as the "sports complex in a park", it was the only one of its kind in the country or region at that time.

Accessibility is also a significant selling point. The Tropika is easily-accessed via the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), and the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2); Bukit Jalil Highway, Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway, and the Maju Expressway (MEX).

Public transportation is also close-by. The Awan Besar LRT Station, Muhibbah LRT Station, Sri Petaling LRT Station, and Bukit Jalil LRT Station are all within a 3-km radius.

Designated as an International Zone under the Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2020, Bukit Jalil will become a more dynamic and vibrant township as the area will house more high-class residential properties.

Finally, it is worth noting that Bukit Jalil has seen an influx of interest from home-seekers, investors and developers as a whole, outlining the factors driving development into Klang Valley's southern growth corridor.

Berjaya Group's vision is to continue to develop innovative products to meet the demands of home-buyers. They believe in developing comfortable living spaces that cater for multi-generations.

It is in line with Berjaya Group founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan's mandate that they should always provide conveniences to consumers such as en suite bathrooms for all bedrooms.
