SkyWorld records more than RM1 billion in property sales

SkyWorld Development Group recorded more than RM1 billion in property sales in its financial year ended March 31, 2021.

Its deputy chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said the company is unfazed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

"Instead, we have become stronger as a unit. We plan to rise onto a greater phase whereby prospective purchasers will notice more and more launches in popular locations across the Klang Valley such as Cheras, Bukit Jalil, Old Klang Road, and Taman Melawati," he said in a statement.

SkyWorld was recently recognised in the Asia Pacific for its SkyVogue Residences @ Taman Desa and for EdgeWood Residences @ SkySanctuary in Setapak, both in Kuala Lumpur.

The city developer clinched two distinctive awards at the Asia Pacific Property Awards (APPA) 2020-2021, the first being The Residential High-Rise Architectural Award for SkyVogue Residences.

It received The Interior Design Show Home Award for EdgeWood Residences.

This is the fourth time that SkyWorld has taken part in the annual APPA awards.

Lee said SkyVogue Residences and EdgeWood Residences achieved commendable accreditation at the APPA 2020-2021 thanks to the consistent effort that the company's team invested into all the projects.

SkyVogue Residences will be developed on a prime 1.34-acre of leasehold land alongside luxury villas. The property offers 333 affluent homes presented in various layouts, with sizes ranging from 1,085 sq ft to 2,650 sq ft encased in a singular 45-storey tower.

The units will offer views of Kuala Lumpur city centre, the Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex, and the Taman Desa Lake.

EdgeWood Residences offers unique park-front homes. The property dons a façade that boasts differing balcony lengths, which will ultimately result in a structure that is less rigid in appearance, flanked by a 2.94-acre resident-only urban park with a central lake.

The newly-launched residence features 960 units with layouts ranging between 865 sq ft to 1,280 sq, with resort-like facilities shared between three levels featuring a hot and cold-water cabin spa gallery, an edgeless infinity pool, an outdoor gym, and a function pavilion surrounded by lush greenery, co-sharing living, and working spaces and electric vehicle charging bays.
