Johor-based Active Estates has opened a property gallery-cum-sales and leasing centre at its ongoing Business Boulevard @ Central Park (BBCP) commercial development project in Johor Bahru.
BBCP, a joint venture between Active Estates and Damansara Holdings Bhd (DBhd), consists of 68 lots of three and four-story commercial shop-office with a gross development value of more than RM150 million.
Astaka Holdings Ltd has been appointed by the partnership to provide project marketing consultancy services to BBCP.
Active Estates said in a statement that the project is progressing well and that the grand opening of its property gallery, which features two show units, took place on March 26, 2022.
According to Active Group founder and managing director Teo Chee Yow, the show units will provide an excellent opportunity for interested parties to explore this lucrative development and have the option of either purchasing or leasing the units.
BBCP is about 75 per cent complete, according to Teo, and is expected to be fully developed by the second quarter of 2023.
The units at BBCP have high ceilings with excellent ventilation and natural light, an attractive modern facade, and are conveniently located on the main road.
Teo said the project is expected to benefit from DBhd's Damansara Aliff Square 1 and 2 developments which are being developed in the same area.
"We have high expectations from the BBCP project following the success of Damansara Aliff Square 1 and 2, which have 80 per cent occupancy rates, coupled with the area's rising population catchment with the growing mixed housing estate of Taman Damansara Aliff," he said.
Teo said that the BBCP units offer interested buyers a rare and lucrative opportunity to invest in the commercial development project, as well as reasonable protection against rising inflation as development costs rise.
BBCP is spread across 2.81 hectares and is located in the heart of Johor Bahru's Tampoi mature township along Jalan Tampoi, which offers both exclusivity and excellent connectivity.
It has direct access to Pasir Gudang Highway, one of Johor's major transportation networks, and is only a few miles from Skudai Highway and JB City Centre.
