KUALA LUMPUR: Apart from moving two rungs up to No. 7 in the world this week, Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia got his Indonesia Open campaign off to a flying start on Tuesday.
The former All England champion downed Hong Kong's Angus Ng 21-17, 21-16 to reach the second round of the Super 1000 event in Jakarta.
The victory was Zii Jia's fourth consecutive win over Angus this season, and his sixth from 10 meetings.
Zii Jia, who won the Thailand Open and reached the Malaysia Masters final last month, will play either China's Weng Hong Yang or India's Kiran George next.
