KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 20 Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun's superb run in the Indonesia Open continued when they charged into the semi-finals on Friday.
Wei Chong-Kai Wun beat world No. 25 Lu Ching Yao-Yang Po Han of Taiwan 21-17, 18-21, 21-10 at Istora Senayan in Jakarta.
It was their second win after having defeated the Taiwanese duo to the Taiwan Open title last year.
In the women's doubles, Pearly Tan-M Thinaah fought hard but was unable to avoid being eliminated by world No. 1 Chen Qing Chen-Jia Yi Fan of China.
They lost 22-20, 21-18.
