Ee Hui to guide Izzuddin-Sze Fei?

KUALA LUMPUR: Will former national doubles coach Chin Ee Hui be training men's doubles pair Nur Izzuddin Rumsani-Goh Sze Fei?

That is the question that has lingered after today's announcement that Ee Hui has joined the Victor "family".

Victor, a major Taiwanese badminton equipment and apparel brand, had only last week announced Izzudin-Sze Fei as their latest ambassadors.

The duo turned professional recently.

"We are thrilled to have a badminton legend like Chin Eei Hui joining the Victor family!" said Victor on their Malaysian social media accounts today.

"As a former world No. 1 in women's doubles with her partner Wong Pei Tty, Chin has left an indelible mark on the badminton world, clinching Super Series titles and bringing home gold and bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games.

"Chin's incredible journey and achievements, including making history for Malaysia in mixed doubles, embodies the spirit of excellence, perseverance, and passion that VICTOR stands for.

"We can't wait to see what new heights we can reach together!"

Ee Hui had served as national doubles coach for seven years until 2019. In 2020 she began coaching professional doubles pairs.

In February last year, Ee Hui moved to New Zealand to coach an Auckland-based club.
