KUALA LUMPUR: RM892,000.
That's the staggering sum professional men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani have pocketed in less than a month, competing in four tournaments.
Their biggest payday came from their stunning triumph at the prestigious China Open Super 1000, where the world No. 12 duo bagged a whopping US$148,000 (RM622,361) for their victory in the men's doubles on Sunday.
Before that, the world No. 12 earned US$62,900 (RM264,456) from winning the Japan Open Super 750 title.
While they crashed out early at the Korea Open Super 500, exiting in the first round, they still took home US$1,575 (RM6,622) after advancing to the last 16 of the Hong Kong Open Super 500.
It's worth noting that Sze Fei-Izzuddin parted ways last year but reunited earlier this year, turning professional on Sept 1.
The China Open marked the last Super 1000 event of the year, alongside the Malaysia Open, All England, and Indonesia Open.
However, their season is far from over, with two Super 750 events – the Denmark Open in October and the China Masters in November – still on the horizon, along with the Japan Masters and Arctic Open Super 500 tournaments.
