KUALA LUMPUR: Men's doubles Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani capitalised on a back injury to Chinese shuttler Ren Xiang Yu to claim their biggest career win at the China Open Super 1000 in Changzhou today.
World No. 12 Sze Fei-Izzuddin upset No. 7 He Ji Ting-Xiang Yu 13-21, 21-12, 21-17 in the final, which lasted for 57 minutes at the Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium.
Xiang Yu needed medical time-out during the first game and interval.
The Malaysians, who earned RM622,000, took advantage of his injury to win their second title of the season after the Japan Open Super 750 last month.
