Aaron-Wooi Yik's world ranking takes a dip

KUALA LUMPUR: Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have slipped down two places on the world rankings.

Ranked fourth last week, the 2022 men's doubles world champions have slid to sixth.

Inactivity after the Paris Olympics - due to Wooi Yik's toe injury - and their struggle to regain form after returning to the World Tour have affected their performance.

They returned to action at the Arctic Open earlier this month but reached only the second round, losing to Ben Lane-Sean Vendy of England.

They did better at the Denmark Open, reaching the quarter-finals before losing to China's Chen Bo Yang-Liu Yi.

There are no changes to the other Malaysians' positions in the top 10 of the world rankings.
