KUALA LUMPUR: Independent shuttler Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin struggled to match an in-form Alwi Farhan, losing in straight games in the Super 100 Indonesia Masters II men's singles final today.
World No. 124 Aidil, who left the BA of Malaysia two months ago, was defeated 21-10, 21-9 by world No. 60 Alwi of Indonesia in Surabaya.
For the record, second seed Alwi won the men's singles crown at last year's Sea Games in Phnom Penh.
