KUALA LUMPUR: Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim grabbed attention on Tuesday when he hinted on the Johor Southern Tiger facebook page that he would leave football forever if his club, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) do not improve in the ongoing M-League season.
“I signed two new players recently and in May, JDT will be a new team.
“If the team’s performance does not improve, I will leave football forever. But I guarantee you that we will do well,” said Tunku Ismail on Tuesday.
JDT are expected to register new players during the mid-season transfer window on May 14-June 10.
