The five players dismissed from the Selangor Super League team will no longer be allowed to join the Red Giants for training.
Kicked out by the FA of Selangor (FAS) were three senior players and two youngsters.
They were Nick Swirad, Farizal Harun, Khyril Muhymeen Zambri, Anwar Ibrahim and Zahril Azri Zabri.
It is learnt that the five will have no further ties with Selangor FC, and they will be paid the remainder of their contracts which expire next month.
However, they are allowed to utilise the facilities at the FAS training centre for the time being.
The axing of the five players was followed by the promotion of Bajram Nebija, Quentin Cheng, Danial Asri, Aqil Fadhly and Sharul Nazeem to the first team for the Malaysia Cup competition which starts next month.
Why did Selangor dismiss national players Anwar and Zahril?
"I will not comment on this because I want to focus on the current players and the Malaysia Cup.
"We also have players from the feeder team joining the Super League team," said FAS technical director Michael Feichtenbeiner who has become the caretaker coach following the dismissal of B. Satiananthan last month.
There were speculations that Zahril and Anwar, both 21, were shown the door because they were signed by former coach Satiananthan.
However, the FAS dismissed the conspiracy theories, saying: "Transfers all over the world are a sensitive issue.
"We have no comments in regard to any of the players but this is part of the business."
