Safee Sali and Hadin Azman will don Kuala Lumpur colours next season as the club hope to match their more illustrious opponents on their return to the Super League.
It will be Safee's second stint with the club after the 2003-05 seasons.
Both players had many offers but picked KL as the club have big plans for the new season.
Although Safee, who played for PJ City last season, will be 37 next year, he has no plans to retire from the sport and wants to help KL achieve their goals.
"I will only quit when my body says it is enough. I am not thinking about retirement yet. I still have it in me to be competitive in top-flight football.
"Age is just a number. AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 39, and former national captain Shukor Adan, 41, are still going strong despite their advanced age.
"It is, however, a huge challenge as I will have to compete against foreign strikers to earn playing time. I am up for the challenge," said Safee, who signed for one year.
Hadin joined KL on a two-year contract after parting ways with Kedah.
"I believe KL will have a strong squad to challenge for honours next season.
"My target is to help KL win a title," said the 26-year-old attacking midfielder.
KLFC chief executive officer Stanley Bernard is happy with the new signings.
He disclosed that KL would be signing several more top players for the new season.
"Safee, I believe, will be an asset on-and-off the pitch. He is still a big name in Malaysian football, and his presence will add commercial value to the club.
"Hadin, meanwhile, almost single-handedly kept Felda United in the Super League in the past. If he plays well, I believe he will contribute significantly to the club next season.
"Furthermore, both players will be supported by Akram Mahinan and Irfan Zakaria, who we will sign soon," said Stanley.
