THE company, touted as Kedah FC's saviour, said it is baffled by Kedah FA president Sanusi Md Nor's claims.
Flumen Holdings Sdn Bhd group executive chairman Ahmad Shaizuan Kamaruzzaman said yesterday they were shocked by the issues raised in Wednesday's press conference by Kedah FA president Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
Shaizuan, owner of Go Auto Group, countered the claims by Sanusi, the Kedah Menteri Besar.
Among the matters queried by Sanusi were payments of Kedah players' salaries, acquirement of state land and stadium usage.
Shaizuan, who revealed the chronology of the talks between Flumen Holdings and KFA, said he is not a politician nor does he think negatively about politicians.
Shaizuan's response yesterday came after Flumen Holdings was accused of refusing to pay the salaries of Kedah players and officials between December 2020 and February 2021.
"On what grounds should we pay before the deal is finalised? I have committed to officially come in in March 2021, to coincide with the Super League," he said.
"I have also given a commitment to pay all the (team's) expenses with a clearer auditing process."
Shaizuan also rubbished the claims that Flumen Holdings asked for ownership of the Darul Aman Stadium, home venue of the Kedah team that play in the M-League.
He said they only asked for rent exemption for the first year to enable better cash flow in his first season with the Red Eagles.
"Actually among our requests is for the MB (Sanusi) to consider giving the concession rights to manage the Suka Menanti Stadium which is now the team's training field.
"Everyone knows the facilities there are in very poor condition and abandoned. The dormitories, dining halls, office rooms and others are in a sad state.
"The stadium should have the potential to generate income for the club. The costs of repairing the entire venue are estimated to cost more than RM3.4 million, and it is part of our plans to renovate the stadium if given the concession rights," said Shaizuan who ended his explanation with an apology to all Kedah football fans.
