"I AM not asking for sympathy."
Perak coach Yusri Che Lah, who left his job with FAM-NSC Project Squad for the problematic Bos Gaurus, has finally spoken up about the mismanagement that is taking a toll on him, his coaching staff and players.
The salary issues, transfer ban and the alleged takeover of the club by another party are affecting the team, who were thrashed 3-0 by Terengganu FC II in Friday's Premier League match in Gong Badak.
"The current players were never part of my plans. However, we cannot sign new players as the club is serving a Fifa transfer ban," said Yusri after the match.
"We only have 15 to 20 fit players for matches. I am not offering excuses, but they are the only players I have.
"I am not asking for sympathy, but I think people can judge from our performances in matches.
"I pity my players, but I will not quit the team until all issues are settled. I will leave on my own terms."
Perak are bottom of the standings after two defeats in as many matches.
In Friday's match, TFC II scored through Petrus Shitembi (22nd minute), Jordan Mintah (58th) and Syafik Ismail (65th).
