KUALA LUMPUR: Bergson da Silva scored a late goal as Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) stunned former champions Ulsan Hyundai 2-1 in Monday's Asian Champions League (ACL) Group I match at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri.
The two-time champions become the second South Korean team to fall to JDT in the ACL after Suwon Bluewings in 2020.
The result left Ulsan winless after two games in Group I following a late draw with Kawasaki Frontale on the opening match day.
JDT lead the group with six points, two more than Kawasaki after the Japanese champions handed Guangzhou FC an 8-0 thrashing.
Fernando Forestieri gave JDT the lead with a curling strike in the third minute but Um Won Sang looked to have rescued a point for Hong Myung Bo's side until Da Silva bent his effort home in the 80th minute.
JDT will play Kawasaki on Thursday.
