KUALA LUMPUR: For naturalised national midfielder Lee Tuck, the 45 days for his adopted country in the AFF Cup campaign have been an unforgettable experience.
"We travelled to different countries, played different teams with amazing support, having the fans behind us," said Tuck.
"Playing in front of 60,000 fans at home, it's a nice piece of history that I will remember, look back on, something to show the family and be proud of what we did as players."
The 35-year-old England-born footballer is set to join Kedah this season.
And he hopes to continue to impress national coach Kim Pang Gon and get selected for the Asian Cup in June.
"I've got to prove myself for Kedah, so we're back to square one and got to do the business for the team," said Tuck.
"I am motivated to play for Kedah, score some goals to get back on the national team," added Tuck who was with the Sri Pahang Super League team last season.
Tuck played six games for Malaysia in the AFF Cup, including the two-legged semi-finals against Thailand.
