KUALA LUMPUR: Less than 24-hours after being dismissed by Umno, Khairy Jamaluddin looks like he could be making a comeback to football.
Earlier today, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) club owner Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim uploaded a picture of him with Khairy on social media captioned: "Future JDTFC CEO and Johor Youth Adviser."
Khairy then reposted with a brief response: "One door closes, others will open. Rezeki di tangan Allah."
Khairy, a committed Manchester United supporter, is no stranger to football.
He is a former FA of Malaysia vice president and was also the driving force behind MyTeam.
During his tenure as Sports Minister (2013-2018), Khairy had set up the National Football Development Programme (NFDP) with the objective of producing top talent for the country.
