KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor FC chairman Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah visited Faisal Halim at a hospital in Shah Alam this morning after the national footballer was attacked with acid.
Accompanying Tengku Amir was Selangor Football Association deputy president, Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar.
Faisal is reported to be in stable condition after undergoing his second surgery at a private hospital in Shah Alam yesterday evening.
Selangor star Faisal was attacked with acid last Sunday by an unknown assailant at a shopping centre in Damansara.
Shahril said Faisal, who won the Best Goal award at the Asia Cup in Doha in January, underwent a three-hour surgery yesterday.
Faisal suffered fourth-degree burns from the shocking acid attack. Doctors confirmed that Faisal was injured on his face, neck, arms and body.
