Federal Highway lights up with support for Faisal Halim via media boards

KUALA LUMPUR: Solidarity for Selangor FC (SFC) player Faisal Halim, who was the victim of an acid attack, has grown significantly with the 'Stand With Faisal Halim, Stop The Violence' campaign being displayed on electronic media boards in the city.

Drivers and motorcyclists using the Federal Highway towards Kuala Lumpur and the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) will not miss the electronic media boards displaying the campaign poster.

As the posters are placed on main traffic routes, the message is widely disseminated, with many people also taking the opportunity to pray for Faisal's well-being as he recovers from fourth-degree burns.

The campaign, launched by SFC, aims to send a message that there should be no violence in football.

Additionally, the solidarity campaign calls on local football supporters to pray for Faisal's recovery, who has already undergone three surgeries to treat his injuries.

The FA of Malaysia (FAM) has also shown their support for Faisal, hoping he will recover fully.

"Let us all continue to pray for the well-being and recovery of Harimau Malaya player, Faisal Halim, so that he can return to his previous form.

"Our hero, Faisal Halim!" said FAM.
