KUALA LUMPUR: Following the acid attack on Selangor star Faisal Halim, fans have created a petition on change.org aimed at halting violence and seeking justice for the forward.
Nearly two weeks have passed since the acid attack incident, and surprisingly, the perpetrators remain at large.
The petition, initiated on Thursday, has garnered 476 signatures so far.
"The (police) investigation must be thorough and transparent, leaving no room for ambiguity or inaction," said a fan.
Moreover, the petition also called on the Youth and Sports Ministry, the FA of Malaysia and the Malaysian Football League to take decisive action in curbing violence in sports.
