KUALA LUMPUR: With several players injured, Selangor can expect a tough time in tomorrow's top-of-the-table clash against mighty Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya.
JDT lead the 13-team standings with 31 points, while Selangor sit in second with 26 points but have played one more game.
Selangor's Jordanian midfielder Noor Al-Rawabdeh is injured, while Harith Haiqal Adam Afkar is suspended.
Defender Safuwan Baharudin, midfielder Mukhairi Ajmal Mahadi and forward Alvin Fortes have just resumed training after recovering from injuries.
Coach Nidzam Jamil will assess their readiness before finalising his lineup against JDT.
JDT could field former Real Madrid star Jese Rodriguez, adding an extra edge to the encounter.
"We have to manage the match accordingly to achieve a good result," said Selangor team manager Mahfizul Rusydin Rashid.
A full-house crowd is expected at MBPJ Stadium.
In their last encounter, JDT hammered Selangor 6-1 in the FA Cup final in August.
